Central to the main leisure complexes of south Pembrokeshire.Hillcrest Hut is set on a 12-acre smallholding currently kept as hay meadows with a wealth of wildlife, which in the early 1900’s ran the narrow-gauge steam engine, the “Bull Dog”, taking coal to Saundersfoot harbour, which the route can still be tracked today. The accommodation, Hillcrest Hut is overlooking magnificent views and large lawn area leading to the meadows. Enter Hillcrest hut through the large french doors into the open planned lounge, kitchen/dining area. This leads off to the bathroom. The comfy seating area over looks the surrounding fields. Hillcrest Hut is a wonderful retreat for couples seeking a comfortable break away in a thoughtfully designed, well-equipped accommodation. Lovely, relaxing stay
We had a lovely time at Hillcrest Hut. It had everything we could possibly need and the hot tub was an added bonus. Great location to explore other parts of Pembrokeshire, like Tenby, which isn’t far at all. The check in experience was super easy and I know if we’d had any issues during our stay, we could’ve contacted Josh and he would’ve been on hand to help. Would definitely stay here again - we loved it!!
Fabulous place to stay
I travelled here with my dog, the shepherds hut has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing break, very clean plus the views from the hot tub as amazing. Josh the owner couldn't have been more helpful with information on local walks and such. The little touches are a nice find on arranging. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing holiday.

Thank you very much for great weekend. This place is absolutely amazing, peaceful and intimate and really Romantic setting. Bottle of bubbles was nice surprise. It was first weekend away for us together and after that experience... definitely not the last one. Can't wait to go back to Hillcrest again :)

Lovely little stay
We stayed here for our 6 year anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hut is perfect, cosy and has everything you need. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub which was amazing. The only thing we found difficult was regulating the temperature as it’s wood fire burned, some guidance in the manual would be brilliant for people who have never used one before. We loved the area, very friendly hosts and we were sad to be leaving.
Peaceful
Spent 3 nights in a compact hut with our dogs. Great amenities, very clean comfortable, lovely views and perfect to get out of rat race for a few days. Nice gesture with the bottle of prosecco in the fridge. Lovely villages 10 to 15 mins away with lovely restaurants and proper village pubs. Defo going back again.
Snug as a bug in a rug
This place was a great little find. In the heart of the South Wales countryside, it’s everything we needed. Cosy with all the mod cons and facilities required (even a light show built in) the doors open up onto an orchard and an amazing view from the top of the hill. David was very welcoming and so was the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! Would highly recommend.
Unbelievably peaceful
We had an amazing stay at Hillcrest! Hosts were welcoming and very friendly, made us feel right at home. The hut itself is well equipped but nice and 'basic' looking, there's not loads of bits and bobs, just everything that you need! The hut was immaculate, so clean we felt like the first guests to ever stay in it! Location was stunning too, plenty of places to visit locally, but chilling in the hut was perfect too! Thank you for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back!
Peaceful getaway
A lovely shepherd's hut with all you need and in an excellent location for Pembrokeshire coast and inland. Great hosts with lovely welcome extras to settle you in. Would have liked to stay longer.
